Pamela Johnson, Executive Director was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. She is a mother of two children ages 24 and 18. Pamela has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Saint Peter's University in Jersey City where she also completed her undergraduate studies obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Social Science, graduating Cum Laude. Pamela has worked in the non-profit sector for most of her career where she has serviced the neediest populations. She is a strong leader and an advocate in her community who continues to break down barriers to find viable solutions. Pamela has made some mistakes in her life and uses her story to stand on a platform that connects with the "People" to inspire and encourage them to believe that one's past does not predict their future. She is passionate about eradicating violence, restoring pride and hope to the community and she does that by fighting for the people from the ground up!
Regina Johnson-Green, Administrator was born and raised in Jersey City. She is married and has 4 adult children, 10 grand children and 2 great grand sons and 1 great grand daughter. Regina is retired from the County of Hudson after 38 years of service. She has always been a leader in her home and community and in her retirement she is able to give more time where it is needed. She is dedicated to restoring the village to the community which plays an instrumental role in family structure.
Denise Wilkerson, Director of Community and Public Relations was born and raised in Jersey City. She is a mother of 3 children (2 daughters and 1 son.) Denise is the CEO of Robert Scott PR, a firm that creates and executes against brand building strategies for small businesses. She is also the CEO and Founder of Abounding Women Community Outreach Inc., a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering women through community outreach initiatives, professional skills training, and women empowerment events. Denise also serves as the Director of Ecommerce at PR Newswire, where she was directly responsible for securing over $147 million dollars in revenue in 2015 and is currently the top African-American executive at the company. She understands that giving back to one’s community is an absolute must!
Cynthia M. Mallory-Chisolm, Director of Programming and Operation was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. She is married with three children ages 24, 15 and 13. Cynthia graduated from Centenary College with a Bachelors Degree in Business and most recently began a career in real-estate at Hurlee Realty where she is a Licensed Agent. She has been an employee of Verizon Communications for more than 20 years. Cynthia's passion has always been to give back to her community.
Asheenia Johnson, Director of Legal Advocacy and Public Policy grew up in Uniontown, PA and has lived in Jersey City since 2004. She graduated from New Jersey City University with a BA in Economics and will soon be pursuing her JD. She worked in banking for eleven years before deciding to transition into a career closer to her heart. Aside from her work with JCACM she volunteers with various local and national organizations that support youth and their families.
Michael Griffin, Director of Community Economic Development was born and raised in Jersey City. As the former Program Manager of The Jackson Hill Main Street SID and current Chair of Bergen Communities United Real Estate & Development Committee, Michael is a firm believer in community and economic development. His goal is to empower the neighborhoods within Jersey City to understand the power they wheel through urban and marketable growth. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s nationally fourth ranked International School of Hospitality & Tourism Management Program; he understands the power of urban culture and influence.
